Myself

About me

Hello, I’m Faha, a Person-Centred Psychotherapist with over a decade of experience walking alongside people as they navigate life’s challenges and rediscover their inner strength.

From early on, I was drawn to the power of human connection and the healing potential of talking therapy. That passion led me to earn a BSc in Psychology in 2006, followed by a rigorous three-year MSc in Counselling and Psychotherapy in the UK. Since 2012, I’ve had the privilege of working across both public and private sectors, supporting individuals from all walks of life with a wide range of emotional and mental health concerns.

At the heart of my work is the belief that everyone has the capacity to heal, grow, and live more authentically—given the right conditions. My integrative approach is deeply rooted in person-centred values: empathy, respect, honesty, and unconditional positive regard. Whether you’re facing anxiety, low mood, relationship difficulties, or simply feeling lost or overwhelmed, I offer a calm, supportive space where you can explore your thoughts, make sense of your experiences, and move toward the changes you want to see.

I’m especially committed to helping clients gain clarity, develop practical tools, and reconnect with their inner resilience. I understand that starting therapy can feel like a big step—but I also know, from years of experience, that it can be one of the most empowering choices you make.

If you’re ready to take that step, I’m here to support you—every part of you, without judgment.

What you can expect from therapy

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and it’s natural to feel unsure about what to expect. Sessions offer a confidential, welcoming and non-judgemental space to talk openly about whatever is important, without fear of criticism or pressure. Together, we will take time to understand what has brought you to therapy, explore the challenges you are facing, and work towards goals that feel meaningful and achievable. There is no expectation to share everything at once—therapy moves at a pace that feels right for you.

No two people experience life in the same way, so therapy is tailored to your individual needs rather than following a set formula. Some sessions may focus on understanding past experiences and how they continue to influence the present, while others may explore practical ways of managing difficult thoughts, emotions or situations. Therapy is about helping you develop greater self-awareness, strengthen existing coping skills, and feel more confident in navigating life’s challenges, while providing a consistent and supportive space throughout the process.
